No, this isn't possible. The only external communication a user can have is with the Tweet Sheet behavior (available to Pro users). It allows for a predetermined image to be tweeted along with a predetermined or user-editable message.

    See http://cookbook.gamesalad.com/tutorials/6/parts/34 for an example.

Thanks, anyone know how to get that the image be a qr code or something like that? Or how can I copy something to clipboard?

The image must be imported into the Library of the GameSalad project file prior to publishing the app. You can use a QR code or anything else you'd like as an image.

GameSalad cannot access the photo library, the clipboard, or anything along those lines.

My bad! Yes you can...but not in the best way. Make a text attribute clipboard content, then make a behavior "keyboard input" change attribute clipboard content, and important: for keyboard prompt, write "copy this!", or something.

In other words, GameSalad can copy and paste within the user input of the behavior "Keyboard Input"! :)

As weird as it sounds, this is the ONLY way to copy/paste in GameSalad.

  • Ok thanks....Chakku I will try that way...
