save after close

in Working with GS (Mac)
i want to do something when the person closes the app. how? using a rule?

    You could use the 'Save Attribute' behavior, but many new users have trouble with it. I recommend that you use the 'Save Table' behavior, as that instantly saves to the device. Whatever you put into that table befroe saving it is saved on the user's device.

    i know how to use the save attribute behavior, but i want to know how to make it happen when the app quits

    There is no way to know when the app quits. You can save at certain intervals (either time-based or condition based) or you can just constantly save (e.g. on a timer) to be sure that the data is saved.
