what happened to the free GS templates??

Hello.. I was wondering if anyone can post the link to the free GS templates like the basic shoot em up template.

I do remember that there were lots of free templates like the caveman adventure, commenting feature template etc. but when I saw the cookbook, there were only a few templates.... what happened to the others?? :(

    I believe it was because the original owner of GShelper.com sold the rights to some other people and I assume they've probably taken away some of the freebees or made them paid templates.

    @ozboybrian couldn't be more wrong.

    There are still a few that show in the Mac creators opening window. GameSalad took all of that offline due to server changes and has said it's in the works to eventually come back.

    Also in the cookbook you can find some of the listed for the windows creator. Most likely since projects are comparable both ways now you can use the windows versions listed here.

    Make a folder and anytime you see a free template somewhere save it... You never know when it will come in handy...

    We have about 50 free templates over at DBA if that helps including a shoot em up space invaders style.
