How do I say in a rule "when actor is in an area of the screen".

...Not sure what you want to do but let me know if this helps....
Have an actor that covers the area of the screen and turn down its opacity (make it invisible)...
Then "when actor overlaps or collides with XXXXXXX then..."
What do you want your actor to do?

when actor.self.position.x.y is = what ever you want.
Or if you need a wider interval you could do a less or greater value

when actor position x/y >0 < (specify)

What do you want your actor to do?
Or if you need a wider interval you could do a less or greater value
