10.2 - sound (doubled) - echo effect

Very annoying thing. After making an adhoc build all sound effects started to sound like they were doubled. In Viewer everything is ok. But in adhoc is this "echo" effect almost on every sounds.

I have reported it already, but it's obvious that games can't be published without this being fixed.

I have the same issue but for some reason it's not all the sound files that echo.

A fix for this would be great.

Already mentioned this. Imported stereo OGG files sound echoed. Mono files do not. Other file types like Wav don't seem to be affected (at least in my case)

Yes, my mistake... not all, but many. I'd say most.

Which if you check would be the ones in stereo. If you can confirm that we would know for sure.

I'll check it later but I was importing only mp3. The Creatore converted it to ogg anyway but maybe this is it.

Update on this - seems the problem persists. Although playing the new mono file in the GS sound well sounded good, playback on device still had the doubling effect. Tried a few things but no rhyme or reason for it.

GS support has contacted me, they have my project and sound file info so I presume they are looking into it.

They wanted to know where I got the file from, but I tested with different files from different sources with the same results, so it's a strange bug for sure.

Yeah I don't really get why some files have echo and others don't.

I've checked it, and all my sounds that were imported as mp3 stereo has this effect... to confim this I have to change them into mono and import again. What I've noticed is that after import it all goes mono (ogg).

This is happening to me too, sounds are ogg mono. Can't publish update to game until fixed...

Ok, so I've changed a few files from stereo to mono and imported again into GS, and the problem remains... So it's not a stereo/mono issue for sure.

UPDATE: I've imported the wrong file :] after importing the mono file "echo" effect dissapeared. So maybe this could be a kind of a walkaround - making mono files and importing again.

    This is a strange bug.

I'm getting a very quick doubling effect on a few sounds. Actually it seems like only 1 sound out of about 20 total sounds is being affected. The doubling is so fast (must be under 0.1 seconds) that it doesn't matter in my case as it's a menu button click. But most sounds are unaffected.

I'm testing an ad hoc build on an ipad 1 (with headphones).

I'm using stereo sounds that were 16 bit 44.1 khz wav files and imported directly into GS. So GS auto-converted them to ogg.

I checked details of my sound files and all files affected by this "bug" were imported as stereo mp3. Files imported as mono mp3 are ok. It's strange because after import all files are ogg mono anyway...
