Change animation direction

dwibredwibre Member Posts: 192
I have an actor which is one of my badie characters. The actor interpolates back and forth from left to right from self.attribute.startx to self.attribute.endx I now wish to add animation (badie walking) I can make it animate in one direction but when it get to self.attribute.endx I cant change the animation to walk the other way when it changes direction. Any advice?

I dont know lol. I tried a few things like creating a self attribute to say what direction it was traveling. If self.attribute.travelleft is true animate (walking left) then when self.attribute=endx travelleft=false and the right animation starts but that did not work.

Did you use a DisplayText behavior to watch the value of your attribute(s) while the actor moved left and right? And if so, were the values what you expected?

Working now thanks @tatiang I tried that and also followed this Tshirtbooth video http://www.youtube.com/user/Tshirtbooth/videos?query=animation I had to create a rule that checked if velocity X was > or < 0 to work out the direction. so excited my badie look amazing :-) in a cute badie type of way.
