GameCenter Leaderboard - best point to "Post Score"

jiffwjiffw Member Posts: 42
In my game the no real end point (i.e no game over) and points are gained regularly throughout the game.

Does anyone have any advice on the best time to post a score to GameCenter?

My thinking was that if I post every time a point is scored it would end up postin loads which I'm not sure is good practice.

Post at the end of there turn. If you do it every time they get a new point it would make it really laggy. But make sure to make it where only there high score is posted. That means if they didn't beat there previous high score then nothing posts. Only new high scores

You should create an end game scene. Add a post score button and also have something that says "your score has been posted" because it doesnt tell them if it has been done or not.
