How did any of your games do? Did they bring downloads? Did they bring money?

While im sure we all can say making games goes further then just a want for money its a passion. But lets take a look at the economics behind the games we make.

Please feel free to comment your more specific statistics if comfortable. Who knows maybe we can use this to further help people understand what they want from there game. Maybe that is to be played and enjoyed, maybe that may be money.

My games are not very popular so the highest amount of downloads I have every gotten (paid) is about 50.

I'm assuming you mean over all platforms, not just apple.

Are the downloads only for paid apps? I mean I've had around 70,000 for a free app. :)

I've made thousands off app sales with some paid apps, and several free apps I've developed have 100,000+ downloads. Other paid apps I've created have only had about 40 downloads during their whole lifetime. It just depends on the quality and enjoyability of the app.

I haven't published an app yet, as I am taking my precious time with my game: Galastar at the moment. I hope it will gain some monies though. I've had some bad feelings that I won't get as much as I hope for though...
