Just for clarification, @CodeWizard has said that they have not officially started work on IAP, but it is a very large priority for them. I personally really, really cannot wait for it ;)

the problem is which android IAP should they implement?
    Google? Amazon? Barnes and Nobel?
they all have different SDKs and i'm sure people would argue here which is the one to implement.

Yep if they are gonna do one they gotta do them all. My preferred marketplace is Barns and Noble. But other people I'm sure prefer amazon or google play Especially people overseas. Some people are hitting other third party markets like Samsung's App Store and a few others out there that are on some of the super android devices that have not been blessed by google. So I would guess until GS finds a way to implement all of them they won't do just one. Cause while everyone can probably agree the option should be there. Nobody will agree on which one we need first.

@SaladStraightShooter Thanks. Hoping some of those items come through sooner.

However... while it remains a high priority item, there are other higher priority items that will need to get out the door before IAP would be slated for release. It is therefore unlikely it would be included in the next release and possibly not for the one following it, depending on where resources are focused internally. There is at least one major piece of architecture and a feature that need to be engineered before IAP (the way we want to implement it) can be produced.
Understandable. Just keep us updated :)

P.S. Speaking of that.. new kitchen post? Finished everything on there except IAP, and you're saying that you're working on other things before that. It'd be great if you could make a new kitchen update telling us what those things are ;)

I think @codewizard was pretty clear that their first order of business was to fix the memory issues and fix the bugs and stabilize the build.
