Ever get sick of Apple's closed technologies. Ever wish that you want something new and exciting, but don't like paying for it? Want to develop for a platform with NO restrictions? Welcome to Open Source!! Today Ubuntu 10.4 is released, and it's better than ever. Fastest boot times ever, so much fun to tinker around with, you'll spend hours just finding out things to do. Thousands of free applications and games. Once you go Linux, you never go back ( unless you require a program on the mac or windows D: )

    Actually I've used Ubuntu... and if I didn't have a mac. That's the route i would go. But since I do.... Who cares.. lol.

    PS. DanlBryant, Why would you be trolling/touting an operating system here on the GS boards where users are pretty much, unequivocally, happy OSX users?

    lol, I just brought it up because of how awesome it is and because of Apple's bad rep about being closed.

    Although i will say if you run a small business that requires server side options you cant beat it. Solid as a rock for hosting.
