PetRun, a side-scrolling endless runner, has just come out. This is my first app on the app store, and I am sure that there will be many more apps to come!

    1000 downloads is an achievement for your first game no matter how you look at it.

    hey Buddie great work , keep it up okay and im a 15 years old developer i actually hadn't a chance to publish my games because i cant afford a mac so keep you development and be proud of what you gaved , i know i talked too much and at the end i just wanted to say great work and good job :) =D>

    Thanks for the feedback. Was the game itself slow, or was it slow to load?

    Love the clouds. The gameplay is really slow at the start but does get faster as you get further. Since the game is pretty easy, I would like to see it faster from the start but that is up to you.

    I was planning on making a menu before starting which stated whether you wanted to play in "Easy, Medium, or Hard mode."

    Depending on which mode you choose, it will be faster or slower respectively.

    @iprasad great game. Looove the graphics. I agree about the speed up option. One other suggestion is to beware of object collision. The dog gets killed even when he doesn't directly touch the spikes. A way around this...
    1) easy solution is to try and use circular collision
    2) the better solution is to have invisible collision blocks constrained to the dog.

    This is not a slam but an encouragement as to what young people can do. Having raised two super geeks of my own. My oldest now 22 with his own radio shack store was a computer support tech in Jr. High and highschool and college. At 14 he was working for our local Mac store fixing hardware and software as well as his own little business fixing PCs. My youngest now 16 was hosting his own minecraft server at 13 and built his first game in unity at 15 and is learning JavaScript and building another game this summer. My oldest son's friend worked at WoodHole oceanographic institute at 15 programing Alvin the most advanced deep water submarine on the planet built by his father. He is now at MIT so around our house young people doing cool geek stuff is business as usual.

    Sugestions-
    -look up Tshirtbooth's videos on how to have score without all those 0s in the beginning.
    -replace the cat character's image, IMHO it looks ugly (no offense)

    Thanks for the advice! I think that I might implement the score idea in a later idea. As for the cat, the image has grown on me, so I don't think I will change it, but thanks for the suggestion :)
