I'm not positive, either. Before 10.2 they did not work in HTML5, and if they are saying there are improvements to tables with HTML5 with the release of 10.2, then it's quite possible they do now. Wish I could say for sure, but I do not design for HTML5.
Ill tag @CodeWizard. Maybe he can shed some light on the matter.
Thanks Braydon_SFX.
In the studica webinar for education it was highlighted that Students can publish to html. Though this is true, my personal feeling is many teachers and students will be disappointed without tables. And maybe more importantly, the limited single size of Gamesalad's published to to html will be very disappointing for students. And then there is standalone publishing, like directly on school servers that would make gamesalad even more appealing.
Now, there seems to be little interest on Gamesalad forums for html publishing, and maybe it's because most of those users have gone elsewhere.
In my opinion, adding Gamesalad's full feature set and more flexibility to html publishing in order to win over the education market would be a very competitive move.
What do you think Codewizard? I don't want to highjack this thread, but could you address the state of things for Gamesalad's html in general, as well as the state of tables in html?
I wish I was faster at reading all the threads. Alas, there's only one of me and a lot of threads!
I'm sending a message to the main HTML5 engine programmer now... more news when I get it. I think the answer is yes, but I'll reserve final judgement until I hear it from the horse's mouth as it were.
@kolabo Keep an eye on my weekly posts for info on HTML5. We're currently doing some optimization passes on it. It's definitely getting some love and being kept pretty much in sync with the native engine.

I filed an official support ticket on this question as well. Let's see who answers first. >:/

Looking forward to hearing the answer. The patch notes were unclear. Thanks.
