Is it possible to create an app that updates online?
For exampla- that shows an updated weather or news

    Not yet. Hopefully that feature will be available in a future update. For now, all you can do is use an open url Pro behavior that takes the user to a web page with that information. Any updated information would just be an update to the webpage, and the user accesses it through the open url Pro behavior within the app.

    You could use Sencha Touch or Appcelerator for something like that.
