Flash

Is Flash (for artwork) free? Also, where can I download it? I've been looking for a while.

Thanks in advance!

    nope... I assume you mean Adobe Flash... its used to create vector artwork/animation/interactive stuff/games and HTML5 stuff...

    ITs free to view stuff made with flash, but to make the stuff you have to buy it...

    its also the devil in many peoples eyes...

    Why don't you look at adobe's site to find out how much?

    If you're a student or teacher, you can get Flash CS6 for $200 at http://www.creationengine.com. But I'm not sure you really need Flash. Have you worked with something like Inkscape?

    Do they still do a 30 day trial deal? Haven't paid much attention to the new creative cloud thing.

    No, I haven't. Is that similar?

    @SnapFireStudios
    Yeah, I think they do have the 30 day trial.

    @hambuerger7 Obviously, it depends what you're trying to do but I would recommend checking it out as it's been mentioned many times as a good/free alternative to Illustrator.

    Okay. I'll try it out.

    Gimp/Pixelmator/Inkscape are all good options, and much simpler than Photoshop.
