Logo Needed for Beefy_Clyro

Hi All.
I'm looking for a logo for my local football/soccer team. I played for them for many years now and we've never really had any form of identity.
Our manager, now a good friend who has been very good to me over the years has spent the last year or two, battling with cancer! We have just finished our season and was fully expecting him to give up the running of the club, however, the club is his life, its been said by everyone who knows him that its the only thing keeping him going. He is now shockingly thinking about next season and preparing his plans, he wants to get the team a new kit and have a logo.
Since soo many of you people are ever so talented, I wanted to see if anyone was willing to do a design. I can only pick one winner and I will be happy to donate something to the winning selection, we dont really have a budget for this but if its something you could see as a bit of fun, a good deed for the sick, i'd be delighted and ever so appreciative should you throw your hat into the ring ..... and i'll make sure I personally give the winner a donation.
The team name is Blue Ball ... The logo is an open slate, let your creative or even simple juices flow.
Again, I appreciate any effort for help.

The 2nd image doesnt have any names on the badges as it relates to one of those quiz games so those bits have been removed

@VeiraGames Thanks for your contributions! The 1st is awesome but is too much for a badge, the 2nd definitely works better

I will give it to after the weekend before closing this and will forward all entries to my manager for his choice.
Quick question - lots of badges feature info relevant to the team, for instance local landmarks or animals from the region where the team is located, or the date the club was founded etc. Is there any other relevant info like this we could include on the badge? Also is it just Blue Ball, or Blue Ball FC, etc... Cheers.
We have no mascot, we've always been really basic but trying to look a bit better for next year.
