AdHoc not working

Im trying to do adhoc to my app i watched the video of the cookbook and i did everything right but its not working after i publish my app and trying to download it to my mac it say i don't have any provisioning profiles at all...what i didnt do right?

    yes i created it and double-click on it and xcode pop up with my device

    yes everything worked fine without any errors

    i think i fix it i just pressed on the refresh button and it works now

    Yes make sure if you make changes like add a device or a profile expired always refresh Xcode organizer.
