Hey guys,

Im deploying a 3 iPad games we did to Mac (1280x800) - I used the camera trick, the problem is that the images are stretched and don't look good.

Any tips and pointers?

I believe you can just use your iPad game as a Mac game. All you'd need to do is change the when touch is pressed to when mouse button is down.

And maintain 1024x768? That would be ideal, now the issue is exporting as MAC to run on OSX. Im not interested in putting these on the market, just want to distribute them thru a few macs.

yea, you don't need to resize, just publish your ipad game as a mac game and it will work. just make sure you don't have touch anywhere in your game, you have to change the text to click or it will get rejected.

    Hey Jon!

Thanks. I don't plan on using this on the app store, just on some mac with touch screens.

While Im here, I ask another question.

What do I need to have other macs work with the game I'll be exporting.

iOS uses the iDevices UDID, what is used for Mac?

Hey @uptimistik - How do I go about doing this now? I mean, I have a very fuzzy client on my back and he wants the adhoc tomorrow.

    Bump!

Is this still the case - that it is OK to submit an app to the Mac AppStore at 1024x768 resolution?
