We Need More Monetization

Here are the problems with all the options we have for advertising
iAd - Low fill rate, not many countries, going to start focusing on iRadio
Mobclix - Doesn't pay. Literally have to threaten to sue to get a payment.
PlayHaven - No reporting, delayed payments
New GS Ad Bar - Doesn't solve monetization but opens up cross promotion. But what does cross promotion matter if we can't monetize new traffic?

What we need -
- Admob
- Chartboost
- Revmob
- Jumptap
- Millennial Media

- Some kind of in-house mediation. Let's us change % of traffic to allocate to each ad service.

GameSalad needs to make Playhaven ads go through playhaven so we can get reporting and not have to wait months for PlayHaven to process and then GS to process.

In the mean time, why not focus on implementing iAPs? If you have a decently addictive game, you'd be surprised (or not) at how much people are willing to spend $0.99 for a couple extra gold or gems :)

P.S. We're currently making more money this way.

@TheGabfather I'm considering it. I'm going to purchase pro soon so its an option. But do you think ads or in-apps make more money?

I'm pretty sure it depends on the game. However we've always stuck with iADs for our puzzle game titles and iAPs for the rest (usually action/arcade games where it's easy to implement Extra Characters or Extra Lives/Weapons), just because it makes more sense to us that way.

Anybody is free to disprove me on this, but we've since stopped bothering with the Pay $0.99 to get rid of Ads strategy simply because people stopped spending for it (well, for our titles at least).

edit: but when I think about it.. iADs aren't exactly intrusive as opposed to full screen ads (which we've never tried before). Maybe people will pay to get rid of that kind of annoying ad.

@FryingBaconStudios At this point, it seems like the issues are that the business doesn't want to do it. Has nothing to do with the amount of time it would take to implement.

No it has to do with licensing fees.

Hey guys, I just wanted to say that I have been consistently receiving my Playhaven payments over the last few months and the results are much better than iAds.

I have two game apps running playhaven (more games button & full screen ads), however, no impressions or data is being reflected in the dashboard for Playhaven even though the ads are functioning properly and I am able to install games directly from the ads. Is anyone else having this issue and does this mean that I am actually not going to be paid for the installs?
