Will GameSalad ever be used for 3D development?

I have been wondering for a while now. If later on in the future could be used to make 2D AND 3D games.
EX:
A simple first person shooter.
I'm not talking about adding images of 3D looking sets. I mean actually 3D, being able to walk around, that sort of thing. Will it be added any time soon?

doubt it. Maybe in like 7 years. GameSalad is a great 2D tool, and i think they will keep it that way.

Anytime soon?! Dude it's gonna take years to even get the 2D engine perfected. 3D isn't just a feature you can bolt on it would require an entirely different engine to be built. You're talking about a complete rewrite and a Godlike amount of effort.

I do admire your optimism though :D

GS does not have that on their already long list of expected developments.
I believe they are not even targeting that sort of user base.

You should head over to Unity, if thats your kick.
Either ways, a good game doesn't require to be 3d.
As far as i know, most of the popular titles aren't 3D too.
