Not sure if this is helpful to anyone but I kind of think it may be as I use this myself.

I always begin a project by sketching out my ideas on paper and keep a note pad with me nearly all the time, but once I start a project properly I move everything to digital.

I use Trello to optimise my project management and schedule everything in there with to do, doing and done lists. Infact I use trello in all my businesses whether its something i'm doing solo or as part of a team so I can assign tasks etc to be done.

For those who haven't used it or even heard of it check out http://www.trello.com

Best thing is its free :) As a digital marketing person I find this a very easy tool to use and make sure I stay focused and on track. Thats why I started using to also for my game dev.

Let me know your thoughts. Hope it helps

Yeah I use Trello it's great for staying organised. I have separate boards for work and personal stuff so it basically keeps my whole life in check. At work we use Asana, which is a very similar system but I just prefer Trello personally.

cool, thanks for the tip. I've been using evernote to keep track of ideas, but this looks awesome for my dev list
