Making icopter game smoother?

I was testing out an icopter style game but noticed how un-smooth it was. I saw badland which was very smooth, so I tested out some different moves and accelerations but couldn't get the right feel. Does anyone know how to do this?

    How is it moving? Which behavior is used?

    The backround loops and the copter just goes up and down.

    Well currently the copter moves up with a speed of 230 and is additive. I have an actor that covers the whole scene and when it is clicked it changes a click attribute to true which triggers the moving. If that is not clicked it moves down with a speed of 150.

    this tread is void of any real information :)

    @blue_elephant, it will be easier for people to help you if you post specific problems, videos of the issue, sample code in your initial post. Saying something isn't smooth could be caused by a whole number of issues, bad code, too many actors, even having android installed. There is no such thing as too much information or detail when asking for help.
