GameSalad Viewer on iPad

in Working with GS (Mac)
I have a simple question about the GS viewer on iPad. When I minimize the GS viewer and go back into my game I have to restart my game by going back to recent games and start it again. When I minimize it on the iPad should it still be running in the background and remain right where I left playing it. When I change focus back to GS viewer I would expect it to start right where I left off. Is that how it is suppose to work? Typically when you minimize an app on the iPad it will remain where it was until the focus is put back on the application. I just want to make sure my app is behaving properly before I release it.

    the viewer is not an real representation of how your game will actually run on a device, you'll need to do an adhoc build to actually test it.

    Ok. That makes sense. I want a true representation of how it is going to run.
