iAds over custom ads

This was discussed a year ago, and I wanted to know if people had any different experience. a year ago if you placed an iAd over a custom ad, in an adhoc build the iAd took precedent, but in the real app the custom ad underneath the iad won. I'm finding that in 0.10.3 that if you touch the sample iAd that pops up, the button underneath still fires. Has anyone tested this in a live app? what happens?

    It takes a brave dev to publish an app when this still occurs in test mode.

    I gave up on it ages ago and have not returned - just accepted the reality. Would be interested to know too.

    yea I really wish it worked. I spent two hours building a system only to find out it doesn't work :)

    @jonmulcahy I tried loads of different ways to try and achieve this but none of them seem to work and believe me when I say this, I spent days trying! #-o
