aiming problem in my game

Hi guys, i am making a pixel shoot'em'up game with space ships. i have it so that my main actor will always face the mouse and shoots at the mouse when i click it. but i am having a problem, once i leave the main box which is a ipad landscape my actor goes all wierd and will only want to aim and shoot back at the main square. is there and option like a zoom funiction in gamesalad so that i dont have to leave that ox or is there a solution for this.

    There is a video in the same place on making an actor face direction of travel. There are tons of videos out there. I suggest watching a bunch and gather a bunch of info so you have a baseline of knowledge to know how to build your code. Everything that you asked is covered in a bunch of videos. If you take the time to study you will be better able to work out your code.

    how do you mean leaving? is it leaving so you cant see the actor? because why would you make a game where it is possible to leave the scene... :/
    can you post some images from the rules you have?

    this helped but it did not fully solve my problem. i forgot to add that my actor also faces the mouse. but thank you anyway. You made my day.
