8 way joystick!!!

Please help me, i have tried for about 2 hours now to make the 8 way controller template work in my game, i have added the attributes and all that stuff, but how can i make the joystick move my actor?

    And i dont understan touch 1-5 do i have to put it in the scene? and where?

    If that controller is based off the Official Cross-Platform Controller Template, those touch 1-5 actors are to help determine which of the first 5 touches on a multitouch device is being used for the controller. There currently isn't a clean way to determine which touch is being used on the "touch" event trigger. The work around is to have specific actors that are constrained to respective touch coordinates, and using the collides with actor of type * to determine the exact touch.

    Sounds like the template @CodeMonkey is refering to. I believe those are spawned by some rule-sets in that case, double check your logic and make sure everything matches the original. That template does have a fair bit of math and logic but is a great way to learn some intermediate to advanced GS controls.

    Here is the video to the deepblueapps template and yes the touch 1-5 actors are just off scene on left. Difficult to see as the size is small - go into scene layers if you are having difficulty.
