My computer's OS is still Windows 7.
Why everyone upgrade to Windows 8 so early? :)
Is there any difference between W7 and W8? (GameSalad)
thanks a lot.

No difference in GameSalad. But windows apps made with GameSalad only work on windows 8 so it just depends what you are planning to develop apps for

I think he meant Windows 8 Desktop apps :) I think the apps will also work for tablets, not sure. Windows Phone development is not yet possible with Gamesalad, but I have a feeling it will be in the not so near future (would be a shame if it won't).

    More information here: http://forums.gamesalad.com/discussion/49323/introducing-windows-8-and-windows-store-support/p1

Do note that Windows 8 App store publishing is a Pro feature.

You can only develop Windows 8 Tablet and Desktop apps not phone apps. And NOTHING for Windows 7

what? so if I used GameSalad Windows7 version to create a mini game, I can't play it when I publish it on my website cause my operating system is Windows 7 ?
Thanks for keeping patiently to answer my question. :o3

No if you publish it on a website it's not a windows app it's an html5 app. Also you cannot publish on your website only embed it from the version published on the GameSalad website
