(video) Why are the actors acting weird

hey fellas, me again lol

so ok. so far im just playing around with the actors. but i put velocity y=-15 so why is there x moving slightly?

i also would like them to stay in a straight path. tetris like feel if one was to slide on over to the left, i would like it to slide a whole cube to the left. my rule writing isnt that great yet but i am getting the hang of it so thank you for the help.

also when they hit the floor, i was looking to make the change velocity to 0. but i could not figure it out. i probably need a attribute for that huh. Thank you GameSalad

    you can change his self.motion.linear velocity.Y to -15
    and if this is also not working you can constrain his x position to the position you want?
    if they spawn random you can make a integer attribute (lets call it Xposition) and put in the actor change self.Xposition to self.position.x and then constrain self.position.X to self.Xposition.

    how do you mean stop them from rotating? can you post the code or explain better how you mean 'rotating'?
    when you use the rotate behavior you can put it in a rule and let it only rotate when an attribute=true?

    @timolapre1998 i will try this as soon as i get home, thank you. and by rotating i mean at the bottom they collided and started to turn at the end of the video. i just want them to act as stiff blocks like tetris.

    change his fixed rotation to true ^^
    go into the actor open physics and check fixed rotation.
