Pirate Poker,Texas Hold´em. [WIP]

Hello everybody :)
This is my latest project that will be big. It´s a pirate poker(texas holdem) game. It´s a work in progress and it´s alot to do. But I just wanted you to have a little sneak peak of the game. Here is some images made by the awesome,talented @rexcarsalot.PokerTable1 photo settavfull_zpse0336c92.png

    Here is one new update. But this time with music.It´s made by @visionexact. He´s really talented and he´s working quick and ends with beatiful music. You will also have a chance to see what places the pirates will play poker so enjoy.

    Looks cool, very ambitious. These characters look familiar though. Were they in another game? or maybe it was from an older art post.

    Thanks all for the posts and feedback. I've had a lot on my plate the past few weeks, so I haven't had much time to read or post to the forums. Not that I post much anyway, but I did want to get on here and let everyone know I appreciate the support and interest everyone has shown towards this little project. Poker and CG art are two of my favorite things, so it seemed natural for me to want to jump on board Fajlajp's project. I look forward to sharing more in weeks ahead. :) Hope you all stayed tuned!

    @timolapre1998 I use a pipeline of programs actually. It just depends on what needs to be done when. For modeling I use 3DS Max, sometimes Hexagon ... depends on the need, I also a variety of other programs and products from DAZ3D, also depending on the need. For expedience and simplicity, I really like to use DAZ 4.5 (4.6 is free for a semi-limited time in the DAZ3D store) as much as possible. I love to use it for animating, and it's flexible enough to allow to render via the best free professional render engine on the market - Luxrender, in conjunction with the (paid) Reality Plugin for DAZ. But there are others as well. Like I said, depends on the need really.

    @RP Not that I'm aware of. If you see the pirate anywhere else, let me know where they ... uh ... ARRRRRRR ... (couldn't resist). It would not surprise me at all to find similiar toon characters out there though ... I did not create the base model. Given the scope of the project and the timeline, it was more prudent to use a base mannequin created by 3D Universe, and then start custom sculpting off it. You may have seen the actual base before somewhere in the ether.

    Updated scene image shown above. Fair-quality render, but still a work in progress.
    Still working on the poker chips and cards, as well as tweaking additional elements.

    @visionexact Just wanted to say AMAZING WORK! on the sound fx and music. Seriously, great stuff man. I love the vision. I love the font used in the video. I don't know what it is, so if it's possible, we should coordinate on using it, or something similiar, in the game if it's possible. Just PM me if you'd like to discuss it.
