Problem with Creator OS 10.6.8 [SOLVED]

Hello all,
So I finally have a betatest for my game, after weeks of sweating,
since i'm creating an Apple app on a windows creator I need to export the windows version to the apple version.
My father has a macbook pro, and I tried to download Creator on it, now I get the announcement that my father's OS is 10.6.8 and should be 10.7 for running Creator.
I completely updated the MacBook, but 10.7 seems to be an update that costs money (..omg), and I don't understand Apple computers much.
Isn't there a Creator version lower then for 10.7????
