Double check it see if you have the Collide with the left wall set correctly. If you want you can send/post a download link for it.

@shahotinaro is there a place where i can easily upload it? or maybe email it.

but i did check the left. i even deleted it and make a copy of the right and placed it on the left

Attaching a screenshot or two of the collision rules/behaviours will often suffice.

Dropbox is good for uploading and keeping secure backups, also sent you a msg.

I didn't see it as it flashed through too quickly and I'm on my phone. I can now see your problem. You've got the bounce when collide rule on the wall and not the block/ball. You're telling the wall to bounce

how do i change that? i just dragged the collide in didnt know there was different kinds.

and its kill that you missed it. no worries

You've got the right kind, you just need it on the block, not the wall. If you read the behaviour on the wall it says Bounce when colliding with block

It needs to go on the block as bounce when colliding with wall

So on your wall, you go into physics section of the actor and change bounce to 0. I think it's default at 1. That's most likely your issue.

    Cheers

@kevincross how do i change that? i thought there was only one type of collide

@millionairApps i set it to zero =/ there must be another way ....both wall and block are at 0 physics

@kevincross sorry missed it cuz gs keeps logging me out for some reason....i see. let me try this

@kevincross it worked until i swiped left again and i think it over powers it and throws it off screen. but thanks.

hey do you do hired programming? i thinking of just paying someone to do the gameplay part.

@BurberryArts I'm not experienced enough for that, nor am I ready for the hassle it would likely bring, so no sorry.

There's likely to be others here that would, but make sure you can see what they've done in the past and you're confident they're legit.

Hey, it seemed the interpolate was forcing it through the left wall, as your rule for going right was a change velocity and going left was an interpolate.

@shahotinaro i was wondering why it flew right but went slowly to the left lol. omg I'm to newb. but thank you so much for looking at it and helping me see that.

@kevincross you seem to know a lot. but yea it is a hassle. look at the simple thing im trying to do and i cant even accomplish it lol. but ill think about finding someone. thanks again

@BurberryArts as simple as GameSalad is, you shouldn't go at it with the expectation to build your first game in one go without making mistakes. I'm still learning things from experimenting, and with the help of other users here.

I can understand why you might want someone else to do it for you though as I tried to teach myself Sketchup last week for game art before deciding that as simple as it seems it would be a massive waste of my time, and that I'd rather be building in GameSalad.

@kevincross i agree man. what is sketch up? like adobe illustrator?

and i wouldnt mind but theres not always someone to help. in fact there is a few to help. and it sucks having to bother people so much. but i just get stuck all the time lol
