Help! Exporting file from windows to apple
Hey all,
So i exported my game from windows into a zip, and try to open it in GameSalad on Mac.
This way I can publish for Mac and view a testgame on GSviewer.
Problem is.. in Mac Creator it does see the file, and I can click it to open. But everytime it opens, GameSalad shuts down and say:
'GameSalad stopped suddenly'
Click open again to restart program, click rapport to see more info and send a rapport to Apple'
It's Dutch tho and I translated it. If I see the rapport I see the same info again.
How is this possible, what do I do wrong? I just exported the file on Windows Creator as a zip. I checked the zip, everything is in it. Should I do other?
Please help.

Now I deleted only one actor, and strangely enough I can import in Apple Creator.
Strangest thing is when I redid the entire game with the 1 actor I left out, i can't import in Apple Creator.
So I got my game on Apple now, but without one actor lol, so I'm gonna remake him. I see many buttons don't position right now it's on an Apple, but that's fixable.. what I think is less nice is that the texts I had perfectly readable on Windows Creator are now anti aliased on Apple and unreadable cause of the smallness of the letters.
Good luck converting it, and maybe build your next game on the Mac if you want to release it on iOS, to save you the headache of having to convert it again.
Did you export from Windows Creator to Mac Creator via the Export option? Or did you just zip the files and transfer to your Mac computer? If it's the latter, then resort to using the Export feature as that will do it just right. If you're still having problems with that, try this tool as some people swear by it.
The Windows version isn't that nasty
edit: oh yeah since you seem to have access to a Mac, try creating everything from here on out, with it.
As for getting my friend interested I sadly failed
The problem was a bugged actor I guess, but I found him.
Only problem is many positions are other when exported to Apple.
Now I work on my MacBook, I see that I have to reunderstand everything, got completely worked in the Windows Creator, and honestly like Windows Creator more :-) But i'm more of a Windows man anyway.
Thanks for your help, gonna edit my app and finish it on this Mac tho.
I like to setup my Actors using the Windows Creator because of the X/Y Coordinate Editor (upper-right of the window), then when all that's done I hit Save and swipe the screen to transfer to OSX where Mac Creator is open. Changes are automatically translated. No need to do any exporting
Now I noticed that many changes unfortunately don't work as good on Mac Creator as they did on Windows Creator, and I have to redo them in Mac Creator to let them work.
The positioning is indeed imba! Is there none such thing on Mac Creator?
Edit: ahh i see.. u have to change the position by hand in the actor statistics.
