Cut the Rope in Gamesalad?

Hello everyone!
Long time no see!

I have seen so many posts over the years about the possibility of creating a game like cut the rope in gamesalad. I saw something recently that inspired me to challenge myself.

We don't have joints ATM so things get tricky when trying to actually make something work like an actual rope.
I am bound and determined to get close. And it's coming along nicely.

You can follow my progress in this thread. Below are my first two iterations. The first I used graphics from the actual game, but I thought if I am going to release it to the app store at some point, I need to customize it, so I went ahead remade all the gfx, and everything is starting to look pretty nice!

Check out the videos below and let me know what you think! My goal and vision is to push the boundaries of gamesalad and show people that you can make anything with this wonderful tool!

    Looks good! With some fine tuning this could be similar to the actual game, nice work!

    I would love to figure out how to have several ropes connecting to one object. It's currently possible, but to get it to work properly physics wise makes my brain want to turn itself inside out.

    INCREDIBLE WORK

    It's an amazing example of what can be achieved when you know the software inside out.

    * I'm currently turning my own brain inside out, re-visiting my 3D blocks for the 3rd time to see if I can make them do just a little more... surprising what is possible with enough perseverance and thought...

    Out of interest, you've obviously ploughed a tonne of hours into this . How many actors have you got for the rope? Did you try with more to create an even smoother looking rope. Obviously more actors, more constraints makes for an unhappy salad.

    @jayleedesigns

    GameSalad's awesome factor just went up several degrees thanks to you. Nice job!

    What is it about multiple ropes that isn't working? I'm pretty sure you can get something working to your satisfaction.

    @jayleedesigns really nice, just wondering why the character jidders a bit on world select when he is behind the boxes, surely he can just be a non-moving actor with a whole in the boxes in front to see him?
