Are you sure you're looking at iPhone 5 in the viewer not legacy? iPhone 5 is the top selection in the drop down menu of preview. Works fine for me, I test using and itouch 5. Are you doing an adhoc or GS viewer on the device? If you're making an adhoc make sure overscan is selected not letterbox.

im using adhoc and overscan and this is what i got :
Okay I know what your problem is. When you do a offset to the camera you have to only set one orientation so when you publish only select left orientation that is the picture in landscape with the home button on the right side. So in the viewer when you load the game hold the device only with the home button facing right as the viewer doesn't lock orientation. Once you flip the device it screws up the camera offset.
