Renewing iOS Developer Certificate - technical question

TomCoffeeTomCoffee Member, PRO Posts: 175
So it's come time to renew my developer certificate with Apple for iOS. My technical question is this:

"Who is going to talk me off the ledge when I screw it up?"

I somehow managed to do it last year, but I'm pretty sure that was blind luck. Any tips before I do it? I've been moderately successful selling iOS apps for the last few years (Thanks, GameSalad!) but the intricacies of certificates and provisioning profiles still elude me (and give me nightmares)... Always afraid I'm going to be totally locked out of one of my successful apps forever...

Thanks!

this is your $99 yearly membership with apple? it should be as simple as paying the $99 before it expires. nothing special.

Yep, the $99 thing... Hmm... I thought I had to download another version of a cert and then remove the old version but if I removed the wrong one all heck broke loose...

May have to go for it this weekend... Thanks!

Sooo.. I dropped my $105.93 (taxes.. huh)... And I *think* I downloaded/refreshed the certificates again...

Should I simply delete the out-dated certs (still have a few days to go) in my keychain access? I thought I read somewhere that having two versions of a single certificate type can screw up publishing because it's not smart enough to pick the newer one...
