Weird Forum Behaviour

All of a sudden when I attempt a login onto the forum recently I am being sent to an error page:

"Someting has gone wrong." is the title...anyone else suffering?

    with the sad squiggly line face? yes, at least 5 times a day lol

    just been ignoring it.. and i also get logged out a lot randomly.

    I've been having this problem for the past 3 days now. I just refresh the page once or twice and it goes away.

    @VolontaArts, yep that is it, the squiggly sad face.

    It is annoying - just one of those strange forum bugs that seem to come and go I guess.

    The forum host provider (Vanilla Forums) has been having some issues with one of the servers, it's been acting up since they brought it back online after a small outage.

    I get the random log out all this time. Usually in the middle of typing a reply to someone post. I'm pretty sure it's out to get me.

    I got load of 'Vanilla is overloaded' messages and then issues going from GS Homepage to the forums with login issues - I think it's a bit messy with logins here as it has to reflect Vanilla forums and the other secure sections of the site like the portfolio - that is why sometimes you come here and are not logged in but then you go to the forums and you are logged in.

    The answer - I think Vanilla have had some capacity issues due to either massive usage or hardware failure - just a guess tho.

    Yep I've been seeing that face a lot in the last day or two. Also I'm always having logging in troubles. Since day one every time I login from the forum it still acts as if I'm not logged in, until I first navigate away to the main Gameaslad.com site and then back in to the forums again. As a matter of course I now login at Gamesalad.com and then navigate to the forums as it's the only way I've ever been able to log in :-/

    I thought it was just me having this problem :/ Just refresh the page and it will work, very frustrating :(
