Need Help!! Installer not working!

Sorry to bother everyone but i ran the installer, and it all runs smoothly until it gets to the actual installation process, however it gets stuck at 0% on the status bar and won't go any further. I don't receive any error messages or notices to do with firewalls, it just doesn't do anything. The program isn't going non-responsive, but it does nothing. I am using windows 8, i have tied multiple times, got any suggestions??? Thanks for the help guys!

    try this

    copy the file to the root of your C drive

    then open a command and type in c:\gamesalad-creator-setup.exe /log setup.log

    that should launch the installer and output all log messages to the setup.log file (in the same directory.

    once it fails copy and paste the log contents

    try this

    Hello! I have problem with installing GS on windows 7. I have an internet connection but at the start of installation it shows window that says: "GameSalad requires an active internet connection for installation"

    I have a good internet connection and don't have any firewall or proxy.

    this is a pretty clear error, are you sure you don't have a proxy configured?

    click on tools -> internet options -> connections -> lan settings

    what you do have checked off?

    Thanx! But I already decided this problem. I opened Internet explorer and then launched installer, and it works!
