What is a gszip file and how do i open it?

I just bought some backgrounds from the marketplace and they are a .gszip file.
There is no documentation about this or how i should open it.
Please can someone explain?

Also the marketplace says they are PNG files so perhaps there should be some enforcement that the files uploaded are the ones described?

    Download it again, it is broken archive

    or if you mean .gzip use Stuffit or GUI Tar

    Change the extension to just a .zip file and try to open it again. That usually works for me :-B

    yeah, I just bought a game package and the file downloaded "GSZIP" I did what Iios suggested and change the extension to .zip and opened it and got the files. IT WORKED!

    you should be able to drag and drop the gszip into GameSalad and it will import all the images for you.
