Upgrading plan.. this sound right?

in Working with GS (Mac)
I'm running Mac OS 10.7.5... I have an iMac from 2011... have 4GB of Ram...

Looks like I have to upgrade to Mountain Lion if I want to update to the newest version of XCode... Soo.. Here's my plan:

1. Drop $20, upgrade to Mountain Lion.
2. Update XCode.
3. Update Application Loader.
4. Test GS... update (or remove and re-install if needed)...

Does that sound right? Still foreign to the Mac way of doing things :-)

    if you can I'd wait a few more weeks. people expect os x mavericks to come out in october.

    The coolest part about Mavericks is that it will have Mel Gibson, Tom Cruise, John Mc Cain and Sarah Palin as new voices for Text to Speech.
