Group GameCenter leaderboards...

Hey all, there have been a few posts on this topic in the past, but they're all from a ling time ago. I was curious if anyone had updated information on grouping gamecenter leaderboards and achievements?
One of my games is already published and on the app store. I want to now put it on another version of the game. Do we know if this works on gamesalad and is there anything i need to do beyond turning on grouping in itunes connect?

    I setup a leaderboard for must keep counting. Then a few weeks later I created a free version of the app. I was able to turn on grouping and link the two together. I followed the directions in iTunes connect and it was pretty easy.

    @jonmulcahy I'll try to look for this itunes connect help. But quick question, did it involve you having to change anything in your initial app? I.E. change any of the names or code of the achievements, etc.

    no, no changes were required in the initial app. the new app used the same names and code as the initial one, once I enabled and configured the group leaderboard to be visible to both.

    @jonmulcahy Either I'm doing something wrong or gamecenter has changed its rules. From what I'm seeing, when I move leaderboards to a shared group, it wants to change everything to a ".grp" Which would mean (i imagine) that I need to rename all of the achievements and leaderboard references in my gs code. You mentioned that you didn't have to. I'm a bit confused. Any thoughts? My game is currently on the app store and now I'm making another game that will reference those same leader boards/achievements. I want to make sure that the current game isn't affected by the change. Thanks! Appreciate any feedback you can give.

    Yea sorry I thought I posted eariler. I did hVe to push an update to the main app to use the new grp.whatever

    @jonmulcahy okay thanks, that's what it looked like to me as well. But to be clear, once you did that there was no problem between both apps and gamesalad?
    Did the grp affect the app that was currently out while you were awaiting the updated version to be approved by apple? Thats a concern of mine, that it will affect the current app that is out.
