Wrap X - glitch? Or am I missing something?

I have a scene with a few actors moving at different speeds. The backround for my game is the same size as my scene. Shouldn't the backround wrap endlessly while it's moving? Once I hit a place a little ways in my game the front of the backround cuts of for some reason.
Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance.

Does it work when you have a blanco scene wit wrapX and a background moving left(or right)?

This happens to me as well when I'm making an endless runner with scrolling background it will sometimes go back in like the left side of screen to fix this you just have to play with the size of the scene, the size of the background and the position of the camera

This will happen if your moving the camera and have background on non scrollable layer.

@BBEnk if I have a background with non scrollable layer and move camera it doesn't effect the background at all. Maybe because I use the windows creator? Not sure

Oh your right I'm using non scrollable layers with my camera and caused the effect but without wrap never mind, sorry.

Not really sure why you are having this issue but my suggestion is to not use the scene wrap X feature. Here is a link to a downloadable GS project which shows you the wrapping effect not using the scene wrap feature. If you aren't using the scene wrap feature then I apologize for the miss understanding. But here's the GS project anyways! :p

If the image is bigger than width 1536 pixel it will usually do that. Cut the picture in junks of 1024 and put them down. It should fix your issue. If you just want to ignore it though you can move the camera towards the right until you don't see it.

When an image falls of the screen far enough it deletes. Big images will do that. A wrap is just recreating the actor on the other side like a spawn. Make it smaller or move camera to ignore it

@KillerPenguinStudios Thanks, I had already done this with a few of my actors but it wasn't working sometimes. I will try again
