How do I change an actors bounciness with a mouse button press?

I'm making a pong game were the actor for the paddle has its bounciness change when the mouse button is pressed. HELP!!!

    Can you be more detailed? Exactly what do you want to happen when the ball hits the paddle? Do you want the paddle to have bounciness? The ball?
