Confused about Android splash screen

Game Salad gives only one option for Android game splash screen, and it is a vertical image. What should I do If I have game with horizontal orientation?

    Rotate your landscape image 90 degrees to fill a portrait image and your good to go.

    android splash screens are broken in landscape orientation. your better off putting just a black splash screen and then having a custom loading scene created in game salad. there's a few threads about it.

    @jonmulchay even if your image is still a portrait, just with your logo on the side so it requires you to hold your phone in landscape to see it right? That doesn't work?

    My splash screens work fine ... I have only made landscape games and tested with no problems on Samsung devices ... I do exactly what @mounted88 said ...
