Hyping up my games and getting more downloads

How can I hype up my games and make them get more downloads.

    Learn all about marketing your app, that can take more time and be more difficult than making the app. :)

    Start with the simple things like updating your screenshots so that they look appealing, and change your icon to match the game. Your christmas trivia icon is just a number two, and not in the least bit christmassy.

    I agree with @Braydon_SFX A game is not about the music or how simple it is to play. A game needs to be fun and look good. Imagine if Angry Birds was made exactly the same way but using only programming blocks and bad fonts as their art? No one would buy it despite how popular and addicting it is today. Then imagine if the great art of angry birds was used in a game but the game was awful and boring? It might look appealing at first and get some downloads but it would quickly get bad reviews and get deleted.

    I'm not saying a game is all about the art, but about the experience. And to create a good gaming experience you need to create something great throughout all the aspects of your game.
