Using other brand's logos if I overtly recognise the rightful owners of it?

I have an app that gives info and trivia facts about globally recognised brands, sports teams etc.

If I want to use photos or logos that belong to these brands, can I use a disclaimer notice below the images (or at worst one click away) that very clearly states that the IP belongs to Brand X and that I do not hold or claim to hold copyright of any of the images etc used?

    You are not allowed to use other companies logos, artwork, brands, etc. without their consent. If you do you could be subject to legal action.

    Of course there are lots of people that ignore that and hope for the best, but I wouldn't if I were you.
