@Braydon_SFX same here. I'm curious to see how many others are the same.

I believe it's because of amazons ranking system. It's "easy" to get into the top 500 paid overall. Getting into the top 200 is harder, but still easier than Apple by far.

I sell only Mac, and iOS games - iOS AppStore sales are muuuuuch better, even if there is higher competition :)

But my case is unsual, the most part of ppl who make multi-plataform mobile games have better revenue in IOS App Store and Amazon.

My tip is, if you go venture in Android Markets (Amazon, Google Play, Samsung, etc) try always release a demo/free version of your paid game.

    Good article to read:

Last thing, like the article said, Brazil have the "free stuff" culture (like China and Russia) but those are big markets to advertise and expose your games/apps, so you should try release free versions of your apps/games (even in english) and you will see a boost on your "developer market page" rank in Google Play that help ppl from USA/UK (my best paid stuff clients) to discover your paid apps/games, thats how I´m working right now, almost 0 in publicity in my new releases but ppl discover my games really fast and start to try/buy them out.

I´m brazilian btw, sorry my english and I hope had help you guys with my personal feedback for the last 3 years.
