sounds do not pause?

I need sounds to pause and pick up right where they left off.. possible? I know I can just turn the volume down, but this isnt going to work for me.. Thanks in advance :)

    Hi, not possible, I'm afraid; that's just one limitation to the Sound Behaviour at the moment...

    The only workaround isn't too good but here go's anyhow: if you haven't got Music playing while your sound effect you want paused is being used, then reimport your sound as Music. That way you can pause and carry on from where you left off, as you know. The limitation here is only one music track can play at the same time, of course.

    how about stopping a sound when switching scenes, other than turning the sound down?

    You can do that with music and not sound. When you leave scene add an attribute pause music. When enter other scene add attribute play music continue music.

    You can pause sound by interpolating the audio volume.
