problem with camera controlls! confused

ok so my actor has the control camera on it right, it all works fine except the camera only follows my actor landscape way, like the "x direction" i can run and it follows but when i jump up higher on platforms the camera wont follow? so its really affecting my game!
and yes i have dragged the camera control area in the center so it should work? but im confused
