Who Are The Best People To Trust When Needing Help Creating A Game?

Hi, I have been really stuck at starting work on my latest game :( nothing seems to work, so if I wanted to pay someone too create the basic physics of the game (basically a simple 1 scene playable game) too help me get started, but in doing so, I have too give away my game idea. so who are the best people/person I can trust too help me with my project with out fear of stealing my idea and releasing it too the app store? Thanks :)

    You actually cant trust anyone 100% except for yourself. The people you see a lot on the forums and who help people often are the most trustworthy. Some people are already mentioned above ;)
    You can make a deal with the person who is going to help you. You can skype so he/she can show you the work and when its finished you can send half of the money, then you get the project and then you send the other half of the money.

    I've had people send me files (even when I've insisted that they don't) and I've not stolen their ideas yet. I don't mind helping people out with small things and looking at their files or yours, but I'm not willing to take on large or paid work. Too much responsibility!

    Thats a reason why you can trust him ;) (90%, never 100% lol)
    I know you want your idea not be stolen but because of this thread you make people interested in your idea and maybe people who want to steal it are going to react on this. Sometimes its better you just ask someone (who you already trust) or just ask for help and not asking for who can I trust ebcause this idea i awesome and I dont want someone to steal it. ;)

    I'm beyond caring now tbh. However, managed to put together a group of good people to help after a disaster last year when I was let down right at the last minute.

    I totally agree with @KevinCross, I've had the same experience of people sending me files to help with and have never/would never take their ideas. But I also prefer to just help and not take on full projects. I have a lot of my own things going on and can't invest the time to work on a full game project with someone else, but certainly am able to offer bits of help when time allows.

    I think most people are so involved on their own games that idea stealing doesn't matter. The GS community is one of the best on the internet so there is little worry of being screwed over... Obviously there are a few bad apples (I myself have been stung for a few hundred notes by another member) but on the whole everyone is on the level.

    Someone with a web presence is also less likely to steal your idea or betray you. One bad review here can severely impact their business elsewhere. For that reason, you might consider this: http://gshelper.com/shop/gamesalad-templates/1-hour-skype-call-with-the-gshelpers.

    I've also helped numerous people with mostly smaller (and sometimes larger) issues either for free or for fees. The bottom line is that if you want to have more trust, you should consider a legal contract with non-disclosure terms.

    GSHelper has assisted literally hundreds of people without one single incident of idea stealing, or game theft.
