Is it possible to use this APP creator to just make an app that displays various information? I wanted to convert my website into a mobile app, which is for education and mostly just information and internet links to different pages.. does this sound like a possibility?

    yes, it is possible. you can make url links in pro version

    Technically probably yes, but Gamesalad may not be your best choice for such an app. If you want to essentially make a mobile app of your website I'd check out Sencha Touch or Jquery Mobile.
