Having problems with the Reset Scene and Pause Behavior. Please help.

Hey guys I'm new to this. I am trying to create my first platformer game with levels but I am having a little bit of issues..
1.) When I apply the reset scene behavior, it gets all glitched out after my hero dies. So I have no choice but to use reset game behavior until I get some help.
2.) I obviously want a pause button in the game so I did the pause game behavior and created a pause scene to go with it. It feels so simple to make work but when I try previewing the game on gamesalad after I applied the behavior, I get stuck on the title scene. It does NOT let me get past that or click on any other levels (scenes) EXCEPT the pause scene. Again, I have no choice but to remove the pause function until I get some help.
I have been asking some friends and colleagues for some help but can't get any. I don't know if I'm asking for to much but I decided to get into this forum and hope that somebody here would have the solution.
Thanks guys.

By the way shoutout to Jamie Cross! I don't know if you are active on the forums but your videos helped me so much man I couldn't even thank you enough. I won't lie, your videos are what made me want to create a game so bad.

He is and he can be notified by doing this: @jamie_c

@Stretch, do you have rules (conditions) for your Pause Game and Unpause Game behaviors? If so, what are the conditions on those two rules?

@tatiang, pause game would be a rule for when
    Key "P" is down
Pause game and show pause scene

unpause game would be similar but
    Key "U" is down
    Unpause game
